New lunchtime club for Y2

Just about every boy in Year 2 signed up for our brand new tag rugby club. Run by Prep boys’ sport coach Mr Mildren and headmaster Mr Cross, the boys will learn the basics of tag rugby including passing, catching and tagging. Mr Cross - a keen Gloucester rugby supporter, and a proud U9 rugby coach enthuses, “It is never too early to start learning rugby. Up until now dedicated rugby coaching at Berkhampstead has started when boys have joined Prep in Year 3, but now the boys will have the advantage of having had a taste of rugby already.” The club takes place on the MUGA every Friday lunchtime.
