Hi, my name is Emily and I am the Manager at Berkhampstead Day Nursery. I have extensive experience of working with the younger children in Day Nurseries and also have worked in a variety of Early Years settings as a student. I have a degree in Early Childhood Studies and also recently achieved my Early Years Professional Status. I enjoy swimming, dancing and reading in my spare time.
He has really come out of his shell and is growing into a wonderful little boy, which we truly believe is down in large part to the hard work, care and love given by Emily and the team.— Former parent
Hi, my name is Mollie and I am Deputy Manager at Berkhampstead Nursery. I have a NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and I have a Level 3 qualification in Management. I have many years’ experience working with children. I enjoy socialising with friends and family, as well as holidays abroad.
Hello, my name is Louise. I am the Bursar of Berkhampstead School and whilst Emily is on maternity leave, I will be working closely with Mollie overseeing the day to day running of the Nursery. I am a Chartered Accountant and have worked in the independent education sector for many years. I have a great love for travelling, skiing, music festivals and challenging recipes!
Hello, I am Lucy and I’m Head of the Baby Suite, our Bear Cubs’ Room. I have a level 3 qualification in Childcare, as well as a BA (Hons) in Education. I have a passion for working with children and for early education.
Hi, my name is Danielle and I am a Nursery Practitioner at Berkhampstead Day Nursery. I have over a decade of experience working with children of various ages and I currently work with the babies in the Bear Cubs’ Room. I have a Level 3 National Diploma in Childcare and Education. My hobbies include dancing, Zumba, shopping and hairdressing. I really enjoy travelling and in the past have worked in Turkey managing holiday clubs for children aged between 3 and 12 years.

Hi, my name is Ceilidh and I work in the Bear Cubs’ Room. Before I joined Berkhampstead Day Nursery, I trained as a Hairdresser and achieved a NVQ Level 2 and 3. I am mother of two wonderful girls and we enjoy going to Baby and Toddler groups, I am currently on maternity leave. I am working towards the Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification. I am always keen to learn new things and enjoy spending time with lots of children.
I am Amy and I work with the babies in the Bear Cubs’ Room. I qualified as a primary school teacher in 2017 and have a particular passion for working with children in the Early Years. I joined Berkhampstead in 2016, beginning as a flexi-staff employee before moving onto my current role. I enjoy listening to music and going to concerts and festivals. I also like shopping, swimming and spending time with my family and friends.
My name is Shannon and I am a full time member of staff in the Bear Cubs’ Room. I have a qualification in Health and Social Care, a Level 2 in Childcare and am currently working towards my Level 3 Childcare qualification. I enjoy spending time with family and friends. I also enjoy shopping, swimming and going to the cinema.
Hello, my name is Amy. I have been working in childcare since 2012 and am a practitioner in the Cuddly Bears’ Room. I have a Cache Level 3 in Childcare and Education qualification. My hobbies include horse racing and exploring and climbing.
My name is Maria, I am from Spain and I am a member of staff in the Cuddly Bears’ Room. I love to travel around the world have have visited places like Italy, Sweden and Miami. In my spare time, I love spending time with my friends and I also enjoy going to the gym.
My name is Stephanie and I am a nursery practitioner working in the Cuddly Bears’ Room. In 2016 I completed a degree in Education Studies and then went on to complete my postgraduate certificate in Early Years. My hobbies include drawing, reading and baking.
My name is Sian. I work with the 2 year olds and I am the lead member of staff in the Fuzzy Bears’ Room. I hold a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare. I am the eldest of 5 girls. My hobbies and interests include socialising with my friends, walking my dog, holidays, films and football.
My name is Denitsa and I work in the Fuzzy Bears’ Room. After graduating, I travelled around Europe and enjoyed learning a few languages on the way. I have a passion for child development and I believe in nurturing children to reach their full potential. I have a Level 3 Life Coaching qualification and love incorporating the theories in my every day planning.
Hi, my name is Jasmine and I am an apprentice in the Fuzzy Bears’ Room at Berkhampstead Day Nursery. I am studying for a Level 3 qualification. I enjoy babysitting my younger cousins and taking them out, as well as socialising with my friends at the weekend.

I have over 10 years of experience of working with children in nurseries and have also been a Nanny. I have a Level 3 Early Years qualification. I enjoy spending time with friends and shopping.

Previously, I worked as a Family Outreach Assistant in a Family Centre. In my spare time, I enjoy attending church, visiting family and friends and running. I play netball, I have run the Cheltenham Half Marathon several times and raised money for charity.
Hi, my name is Collette and I have worked in childcare for the last 17 years. I have a Level 3 qualification in Children’s Care, Learning and Development. I work in the Teddy Bears’ Room. I live locally and I have 2 brothers, including a twin. In my free time I enjoy seeing friends and family.

Hello, my name is Caroline and I work in the Wise Bears’ Room. I am an experienced teacher having taught in a range of secondary, primary and special schools as well Early Years settings. I have a large family and enjoy cooking and spending time with both family and friends. I love travelling and learning new languages. I go to the theatre as often as I can. I also enjoy sport, keeping fit, hiking, horse riding and several crafts.

I have 15 years’ experience in childcare and have held senior positions in various settings. Most of my spare time is taken up with family life since having my little boy in 2015. For many years, my main hobby has been riding and caring for my horse. I also enjoy family holidays and socialising with my friends.

Hi, my name is Mary and I am a Nursery Practitioner at Berkhampstead Day Nursery, I also run the Day Nursery office. I have worked extensively with children of various ages in day nurseries. I graduated from university in 2011 with a degree in Early Childhood Studies with Psychology. I love spending time as a family with my two boys, especially going on outdoor adventures. I love to travel around the county seeing friends and family, especially going to Devon to see my two nephews. I also enjoy reading, cross stitch and playing with my two cats.
I am Hannah and I run the Day Nursery office. I am currently on maternity leave. I have many years’ experience working with children of various ages.
My hobbies include Zumba and going to the gym. In my spare time I also read, paint and enjoy photography. I also like to meet my friends for shopping trips, dinner and drinks.
Hi, my name is Louise. I am the Finance Manager at Berkhampstead School and Day Nursery. I am a fully qualified AAT technician and am also working towards completing my ACCA. I have 9 years’ experience within an office and finance role. In my spare time I like to compete my horse and socialise with friends and family.
Stephen, our Maintenance Manager, is a big part of the Day Nursery and knows most of the children by name. They love to see what jobs are being done; he always waves as they pass and the children often stop for a chat.
