Berkhampstead School has a traditional uniform that dates back to when the school was founded in 1945. Our uniform is smart and much admired, and our children wear it with pride.
Pre-Prep girls wear navy tunics, red, polo-necked tops and school jumper with navy tights and black shoes. Boys wear grey shirts, school ties and grey trousers. Both wear duffle coats, woolly hats and scarves. Prep girls wear red and white stripy shirts instead of the polo necks. Blazers or school coats are worn instead of duffle coats.
The Games kit is practical and designed to be comfortable and warm.
Summertime sees a switch to red and white stripy dresses for all the girls in the school, and shorts and white short-sleeved shirts for the boys. Blazers are worn in the Summer for Pre-Prep pupils, and Prep pupils can wear blazers throughout the year.
Pre-Prep and Early Years children wear these lovely, hard-wearing overalls for messy activities and lunch.
Berkhampstead uniform can be purchased from John Lewis, who offer an efficient ordering service and who have a large store in Cheltenham.
