A great way to dye!

Year 2 have a jam-packed timetable full of really fun activities this week. The week has been planned to support their study of the Pacific Islands, and kicked off this morning with tie-dying T-shirts Maria Rova style. Maria Rova is an artist from the Fiji Islands, and her work is known for its intense and vibrant colours. Our young artists have been inspired by her, and already have created truly eye-catching artwork. They have designed tattoos, which will be ironed on to their T-shirts later in the week. The pupils can look forward to a host of other activities, which includes creating mocktails, cooking pineapple cookies, mask making and grass skirt making. Wow!
