Festival of Lights

Kindergarten have been having great fun learning all about Diwali, the Hindu festival of lights. Our youngest children have been kept very busy making Diva lamps - which are now displayed around the Kindergarten - and they have created some fantastic Rangoli patterns with chalks outside the Kindergarten and Reception main entrances to welcome visitors. They have also enjoyed drawing intricate Mehndi patterns on hand templates. The highlight for the children was Miss Curl surprising them when she returned from her break wearing a beautiful Sari - everyone wanted to touch the pretty sequins!
