We The Curious

      We The Curious

Year 5 began the new half term with an exciting trip to We The Curious - the science centre in Bristol formerly known as @Bristol. Science should be all about finding out things for yourself, doing hands-on investigations and having fun, and We The Curious is just the place to communicate these important messages. The children explored two floors that were jam-packed with really fun hands-on exhibits, that encouraged our pupils to investigate a whole range of different topics. A sense of adventure and curiosity was certainly inspired in the children! Some of their favourite exhibits included listening through your teeth, running on a hamster wheel to move water and looking at optical illusions. Having explored all of this, we sat down for a 3D show that was about our Solar System in the Planetarium. The children answered all the questions asked at the end of the show and were very well behaved throughout the trip. Well done, Year 5.
