Berky Mosaic is officially opened

We were delighted to welcome painter, sculptor and ex-Berky Dad to the Prep School to officially open our splendid mosaic. Although it poured with rain, it was a happy occasion, and Mr Slessor gave a pertinent speech about the importance of art. The mosaic was created by Year 6 last term, in collaboration with local artists from Tomato Jack Arts. It depicts aspects of Prep school life, such as sports, science, music and chess. Each pupil was involved in every stage of the process, and it now takes pride of place on the exterior wall of the Prep building by the front door.
