Open Mornings
We hold two Whole School Open Mornings each year, in the Autumn and Spring Terms, offering prospective families the perfect opportunity to experience life at Berkhampstead.
We also host a dedicated Early Years Open Morning, tailored for families interested in our Kindergarten and Reception, and a Working Open Morning in the Summer Term, where visitors can see the school in action on a normal day.
Our next Whole School Open Morning will take place on Saturday 11th October 2025.

Personal Tours and Taster Days
If you’d prefer a tour led by our Head of School, Mrs Bareham, we’d be delighted to arrange a personal visit. Touring during the school week is a fantastic way to experience the warm, nurturing atmosphere of Berkhampstead in action.
Following your visit, your child is invited to attend a Taster Day, offering them the chance to experience the ‘Berky’ way of life firsthand. They’ll be paired with a friendly ‘buddy’ who will ensure they feel welcome, comfortable, and well cared for throughout the day.
We look forward to introducing you and your family to all that Berkhampstead has to offer!
Entry Process
After your tour, you’ll receive a registration form. If space is available in your chosen year group, we will contact you to confirm an offer of a place.
We also welcome mid-year and mid-term starters, ensuring a smooth transition for families moving to the area or considering a change of school.
