fees & early years funding

Our competitive fee structure ensures that Berkhampstead Day Nursery remains an affordable and first-rate childcare provision.

When do I need to pay?

Fees are charged in advance and need to be paid by the 10th of the month. You will receive your bill via email on the 25th of each month, so for example, you would receive your bill for February fees on January 25th and would need to pay it by 10th February. This is inclusive of voucher payments. There is a Late Payment Charge of £35 for any outstanding fees received after the 10th of the bill’s month. Payment of bills can be made by bank transfer (Sort Code: 30-95-72 Account 31085868), by cheque and with childcare vouchers.

Change of sessions/notice

We have an 8 week notice period for all children regardless of funding for giving notice and/or change of sessions. Please let the office know by email or letter. New starters are required to provide 8 weeks’ notice to delay their start date or reduce your booking.

What if I need an occasional extra session?

We can offer extra sessions if there is availability for the session you require; please speak to staff in the office. Extras will be added to your monthly bill.
