A Right Royal Affair!

      A Right Royal Affair!

Although the weather for our street party didn’t live up to the beautiful sunny day of last Saturday’s royal wedding, our pupils’ spirits weren’t to be dampened. It had been intended that the end of half term celebrations of the recent royal nuptials should take place on the Pre-Prep lawn - bringing together the whole school community - but the rain looked relentless, so instead the party was relocated to the gaily decorated halls. The children had all donated a pound to the Prince’s charities to wear red, white and blue, and enjoyed a feast of bread rolls, sausage rolls, crisps, chocolate and fresh fruit, and the merry old time was finished off with an ice lolly. Meanwhile, Kindergarten were invited to wear their finest wedding regalia for their own Harry and Meghan related activities and picnic. A really fun end to a busy half term!
