Talented musicians win gold!

Congratulations to the 10 players in our Chamber Ensemble who were awarded a magnificent shield as best performers in their class. They performed Whirligig and The Mary Rose to an appreciative audience and the adjudicator was most impressed by their ‘story-telling’ through the expressive qualities of their music. She also commented that all the instruments were very well-prepared and followed conductor Mr Trim closely. Tuning was excellent and it was a fabulous and clear arrangement. Well done to our brilliant Year 5 and 6 musicians.
