Take Notice!

The School Council asked their classmates how the School could be more environmentally friendly, and one idea was to install a bird and insect house, and plant insect-attracting herbs and flowers. So this week - when there was a welcome break in the miserable weather - Year 6 School Council leaders donned their gardening gloves and set about planting lavender, herbs, and large daisies. Located in the ‘Take Notice’ area of the playground, the planted yellow pots are a cheerful and eco addition to the playground. The School Council meets fortnightly, and is led by Head of Pastoral Care, Mrs Bareham.
