Junk Aliens!

The Year 1 classrooms were awash with cardboard boxes, plastic bottles, tubes and sticky tape earlier this week when our creative pupils threw themselves in to a day of design and technology. The children had been tasked with making a detailed plan of a junk alien, collecting the necessary components from home, bringing them into school, and assembling everything to create their alien. Year 1 teacher Mrs Langley-King was impressed with her class’s creativity and commented, "It was a very exciting day, and the children loved seeing their plans come to life. Each alien had a distinct personality!" The aliens are displayed in the Year 1 classrooms.
