A roaring success!

      A roaring success!

Reception children have truly thrown themselves into their new topic ‘Gigantic footprints from the past,’ and have enjoyed quite a few dinosaur-inspired activities already this term. The highlight of this week was a visit to the Oxford Museum of Natural History to see the dinosaurs! Excitement mounted before we even entered the museum, as there were huge casts of dinosaur footprints set into the lawn, and we all loved stepping in them. We also saw a real skeleton of a T-Rex, and even sat next to a Triceratops! The children’s curiosity was further inspired as we examined a variety of other skeletons, fossils and creatures that walk, fly, and swim. Our intrepid lot were fantastically well behaved, and we were very proud of them all!
