New Apple iPads.

      New Apple iPads.

Berkhampstead pupils are making the most of their brand new Apple iPads - purchased to replace the old ones bought over five years ago. The new iPads are now being used for all sorts of lessons, including a Year 2 lesson, where the delighted children used the ‘Brushes’ app to draw wonderful self-portraits. The app enabled the children to record each brush stroke allowing them to play back exactly how they created their works of art! Children across the school have been given their own ‘account’ so that their computing work is secure and will remain so during their time at Berky. The older children are also able to access their work at home to complete work started in class. Computing lessons include computer coding, animation, eSafety and digital media. The children are also taught how to research topics, create presentations and projects as well as crucially, how to explore the internet safely.
