A Day in the Life of a Vet

A Day in the Life of a Vet

Year 1 welcomed Veterinary Surgeon Nathalie to school this morning. Nathalie told the children all about life as a vet in Cheltenham, and then answered a plethora of really good questions from our inquisitive children. Questions ranged from how she can tell if an animal is poorly, and how she removes lumps, to questions about her most unusual patients (koalas and wallabies while she practised in Australia), and even how plasters stick on dogs! The children then had to guess what various tools were used for, and some of our Year 1s even had the chance to dress up as a vet!
