Food for Thought

An excited Year 1 spent a fun-filled morning at local fruit farm Primrose Vale. Divided into small groups, the children took turns picking strawberries, blackberries and raspberries, each filling their own punnet. One little boy commented, "I enjoyed trying the different berries, and my favourite to pick was strawberries because there were no thorns." Today the children are baking muffins with their freshly picked fruit, and sketching fruit branches and sunflower heads in their art class.
