Residential Adventure For Year 5

      Residential Adventure For Year 5

Just a couple of weeks into the new term, and Year 5 have ventured into Gloucestershire’s Forest of Dean for a three-day adventure. Their experience at Viney Hill Adventure Centre is packed with really fun activities, and our intrepid children have already taken part in archery, climbing walls and crate stacking. Crate stacking involved small teams building a tall tower of crates, while balancing at height, ideal for learning how to work together and operate as a team. And among the activities still to go is bushcraft skills (how to build a shelter, make a fire and find food and water), navigation, bridge building and a low rope assault course. Plenty to look forward to!
