Awards Galore

Our Chess Captain proudly collected the District League and Knock-out cups at the annual District Prize-Giving Ceremony at Pate’s Grammar School. A number of Berkhampstead children were awarded individual prizes and we were pleased to also receive the Wheeler Cup for the school with the most successful team at this season’s congress. It was a super collection of silverware to bring back to school and a well-deserved reward for a great year’s chess.
