Reaching for the Stars!

Reception had a lively launch to this term’s ‘Destination Outer Space’ topic with a visit to Thinktank Science Museum in Birmingham. All were impressed by the sheer size of the museum and the variety of things there were to see and do. The children loved the visit to the Planetarium, where they had a tour around the night sky and found out about the stars and astronomy. They explored the outer reaches of space and loved the interactive exhibits such as ‘Create an Alien’ and ‘RoboThespian’. A great day out was had by all!
