Nursery
For the earliest possible start at Berkhampstead, our Nursery takes children from 3 years of age and gives a very gentle introduction to school life.
With superb facilities the nursery is well resourced and has easy access to a dedicated outdoor play area. Staffing ratios are generous and every child receives plenty of attention.
Our aim is to provide a happy, secure and structured environment where these young children can enjoy going to school for the first time. Practical activity and planned play make every day fun and stimulating and there is plenty of variety for everyone.
Confidence, understanding, learning and social skills rapidly develop, as do early friendships and at 4+ the children move on to our Pre-Prep.
The Sure Start Free for 3 to 4 year olds grant is available and Berkhampstead School is also registered with most Childcare Voucher organisations.
