Once Upon a Time

Our Reception and Pre-School children performed "Once Upon a Time" brilliantly in front of a packed audience with shows most days this week. They invited their parents, teachers and siblings to join them on a journey with a little boy with just Mum and a cat for company. Nothing happens, no one comes by …or so the little boy says. But the children told a very different story, and we met all manner of story book characters including creatures from ‘The Gruffalo’, ‘Room on the Broom’ and ‘What the Ladybird Heard.’ Reception children did an amazing job remembering their lines and using musical instruments to accompany the songs. Meanwhile, our lovely Pre-School children also delighted the audience, looking adorable, and also remembering their actions and words. Well done Early Years!
